DESCRIPTION:Join Parks Senior Naturalist Hulya Onel at this workshop to learn all about birds. This is the first of six workshops to become a Certified Junior Naturalist! We will study a different biology subject every other month throughout the year. Once you complete all six workshops\, you will be eligible to join the Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Center Naturalists Club! \nThe mission of the Junior Naturalist Program is to foster an understanding and appreciation of Northwest Louisiana’s plants\, water\, soils\, and wildlife\, and to promote good stewardship. A special award will be given for each workshop attended and completed. This program will be ongoing\, and classes can be made up when they are offered again.
