Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center
Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center is an official public facility of Caddo Parish, operated by Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation and funded by the Caddo Parish Commission for the benefit of Caddo Parish residents.
Through this partnership, the Nature Center is preserved, maintained, and enhanced as an integral part of the Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation system, ensuring consistent stewardship, public accessibility, and high-quality programming for the community.
Mission
The Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing quality facilities, recreational programs, and other leisure time activities for the enjoyment, health, and benefit of the residents of Caddo Parish. In carrying out this responsibility, the department provides clean, safe park facilities throughout the Parish and a variety of recreational programs to ensure a positive experience for all our visitors.
